A groundbreaking event will be held Wednesday for the $63 million, 108-unit Tripoli affordable family apartments in Coachella. The event will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at 51392 Cesar Chavez St., where the 2.8-acre community will be located, according to a statement from the city of Coachella. Representatives from the Chelsea Investment Corporation, Supervisor V. Manuel Perez, Coachella Mayor Steven Hernandez, and Council members Denise Delgado, Dr. Frank Figueroa, Stephanie Virgen and Neftali Galarza are set to be in attendance.
