A group of Assistance League Coachella Valley members get together each week to work on a brand-new project. The first job is to unpack a large box of small teddy bears, several hundred of them, each bear's shirt displaying the league's star logo and each ready to become part of a new endeavor for both those giving and those receiving – for this group is gathering to assemble Assault Survivor Kits. The members of Assistance League recently added this necessary program to the chapter's already full outreach agenda.
